You can't rush a Pregnant Visionary's journey

Have you ever been so inspired by your Vision only to feel discouraged only weeks or months down the road? One of my greatest lessons has always been impatience. I also admit, I have a tendency to get stuck many times while growing my Vision.

When we desire to see our Vision birthed in the world before it's time, I believe it's because Pregnant Visionaries often lose sight of one of the greatest laws in the Universe.

The "Law of Gestation" states that there is a time for everything and a season for every change under the sun.

I would like to offer a new way to interpret the law of gestation that will bring more ease and flow into your journey.

Anais Nin writes that “Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.”

The more impatient we are with our Vision by wishing and pushing it's birth into the world the more we stagnate the growth of ourselves and our Vision. Life requires room to grow, and your highest potential cannot be realized when you push through impatience with the journey.

No matter how we prepare the nursery, attend the classes or imagine how our baby will look when she is born, the Law of Gestation states that there is a Divine timing in which all thing come to term.

How many times have you tried to force results with your Vision with a “get it done” approach?

How many times have you been frustrated by your results no manner how much effort you put in?

We cannot, no matter how much effort we put in, know the size and shape of our baby until the day she arrives. Our task is to stay the course and accept that each phase will bring new gifts and excitement along with periods of discomfort.

My suggestion for you today is to:

Connect with where you are in your process instead of approaching it with a “get it done” attitude. You cannot skip the process of gestation.

Invite the uncertainty in when you experience the discomfort of being stretched or “not knowing” how it will all look in the end. Make friends with it. The more you resist the process of discomfort by trying to “get it done” the more discomfort you will feel.

Release your desire to know what the result of your passion expressed in the world will look like. The is a Divine Plan at work in your life right now. When you release your desire to logically know what that is, you will receive Blessings that exceed your greatest desires.
